Dunn's Famous - Montréal

Compared to Schwartz's, the smoked meat at this restaurant is truly outstanding and delicious. However, the other dishes, such as the bread, coleslaw, potato latkes, and sides, lack in quality and flavor. The service is very fast and the ratio of sitting down to eating is efficient.

The restaurant has a charming diner-style atmosphere. The burgers are made to order and they have delicious pecan pies. The beef patty was excellent, but the buns were very basic. The burgers were a bit smaller in size compared to others, but they had great flavor. The service was good overall.

1- The location and restroom could have been cleaner. 2- The staff always seem rushed and you may need to repeat yourself multiple times. 3- The food was exceptional, with generous portions. Would rate it a 10/10 for taste.

I am still thinking about this sandwich, a week after having it. This was the best smoked meat sandwich I’ve had. The quality of the meat was incredibly tender and juicy, the flavour of the meat was sublime. In addition, the service was amazing, quick, and friendly. I can not recommend this place enough, it is a must visit when in the area!

Visiting Montreal, Dunn's and Schwartz's had to try. I ate twice at Dunn because it was SO GOOD. The smoked meat was tender and tasty. Schwartz was good, but a bit dry. I served my meal in the terrace. Very relaxing. Excellent Fritten and Schwieger. Very full. Great location, downtown.
