Henri Brasserie Francaise - Montréal

My wife and I were there for the first time and loved the service we received. We asked the waiter for his drink recommendations and a few questions about the menu and he was in full control of his means. Our meat was cooked perfectly and everything was tasty. For one of the rare times we don't need to salt or pepper our food. It was very well seasoned. It should be noted that we often salt our food. So for our part in general we recommend this restaurant. We have adored.

I like this place, cathedral ceiling, located on the ground floor of the Birks hotel so near the boutique/jewelry store. cozy atmosphere, price quality ok.

The atmosphere and decor are fabulous. The dishes are well presented and the taste is delicious. The bread needs to be changed. It is not acceptable for a prestigious restaurant to serve us bland bread. The Blé de pays bakery could enhance your offer and fully satisfy us. Ultimately the service is not impeccable. At more than $100/person, our expectations were not met. The Quebec Tourism and Hospitality Institute offers refresher training that we suggest.

The Valentine's Day Menu was a delightful culinary journey. The appetizer, FOIE GRAS EN VERRINE, was notably memorable, striking the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The Braised Veal Cheek followed, executed with precision. However, the lobster meat was somewhat overcooked. As for the dessert, it was a visual and gustatory pleasure, marrying presentation with flavor exquisitely. Additionally, the ambiance and decor of the restaurant greatly enhanced the dining experience.

Had a 70th birthday party that was unforgettable. because we were early, we had drinks in the lounge. mathieu, our waiter, accompanied me to our table because I used a crinut. so thoughtful! we had to share the seafood plate. really delicious, especially the perfectly cooked lobster. our rib roast and roasted root vegetables were excellent. again our waiter was attentive and efficient. the beautiful location in the former birks', great eating and attentive staff made it an unforgettable evening. valet parking made it very comfortable! I can't wait to go back.
