Les Enfants Terribles - Montréal

Great little bistro brasserie, we had beautiful oysters, great steak tartare and a great bavette steak. Home made fries and fab killer side salad. Eat outside on the terrace with a bite of rosé Rosaline. Great service from friendly people!

Place ville Marie location has a nice atmosphere, beautiful view of Montreal, but very despointing, we found a hair in the pate chinois, the waitress brought the wrong drink, and because it was recommended what soupossed to be a maytai, was something muskul. no even a excuse.....the macaroni was no cooked and I know what al dente means.....too bad for such beautiful place.

Went walking during a summer evening and liked the terrace Decided to stay and try the food. Salmon tartar was good, my burger was good, not great , and my wife's steak was fair. Tender but a little bland and the sauce was fair. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the evening, and the server was very nice. Would try it again but without high expectations for the food.

A step above the ordinary. An appetizer of shrimp on compressed watermelon was attractive and delicious. We had octopus which was pricey but better than we've had in Greece. The Cornish hen was tastefully seasoned and perfectly done. Service was excellent. We liked it so much that we bought their wine glasses.

We stopped by after work for a quick meal. We had three different appetizers, all of which were really good. The scallops crudo with caviar and avocado was outstanding-better than any scallop ceviche I can recall. We also shared some flavorful fresh oysters and and excellent blood sausage (boudin noir). The wine list had several interesting choices by the glass-I had a Cava that went perfectly with the oysters and scallop.Service was friendly and reasonably efficient. I'll go back to dinner soon I hope!
