I have been comparing croissants from different cafes like near Saint Henri, on Sherbrooke Street, but but but, no croissant can match up to the bliss of the taste found here. Other than croissants, I really liked their croustillant and ofcourse, the coffee! It 's affordable, has rustic seatings and is just a blissful place!
Stopped by on Saturday night near closing to pick up a cake for a birthday. Without knowing much about this patisserie and the cake in general, they have over delivered in taste and quality. Wish we had more time in Montreal to try out their other items.
I had the Marius croissant sandwich; it was delicious. The croissant was light and soft; the fillings were very fresh. The staff kindly translated the menu for me after confirming I can’t read French.
The girl just picked my cake with bare hands, no gloves and threw it in a paper bag...it was a soft cake with icing, it shoul not be put in a bag. I asked for a box instead but it was too late, the cake was ruined. Plus they make you tip for take out, l don't understand why esp. Since the person was less than helpful, nor nice...very disappointed
Just happened to walk by this little Café. Excellent Americano. Good flavour and not bitter. Also had an Almond Croissant which was also delicious. Not the traditional marzipan paste often found. It had a nice wholesome almonds paste.
