Feedback gevenBecause my 10 years old son wanted sushis and the rest of our gang did not want sushis, as he was getting angry, we decided for peace and went into Sa-Fran to test a counter intuitive french and japanese cuisine. To our great surprise the food was excellent, the entrecôte was perfect, good japanese beer and superbe french wine, and our 10 years old sushi expert (he has been to Japan before and knows about proper sushi) was very happy with a nice choice of sushis and makis, you can trust the chef. The sweet and sour soya crème brûlée was exquisite and a true discovery. All family happy, sushis, entrecôte, magret de canard superbe, and japanese dessert surprising. On top excellent and friendly service.
Visited this place with my son for a quick bite waiting for an appointment. A Japanese chef, Mr. Satoshi, and his partner in business, a French chef (I believe his name was Francois? Sorry if I got it wrong) run this modern bistro together, where you get to choose from Japanese cuisine (sushi included) and French cuisine. It is an interesting concept and very customer-friendly in terms of menu; I mean who wouldn't like Japanese and French? You can cross mix the appetizer and the main course or the dessert. Food was delicious and the interior modern to my liking. You can sit by the terrasse if you want. Anyway this is a nice bistro where you don't have to worry what to eat.
Sa-Fran is not your typical fusion restaurant as it offers a japanese menu in parallel with a french menu so you can mix french appetizers and pastries with Japanese maki. The food was simply amazing. We were greeted in this small and quiet restaurant by Satoshi, the Japanese chef. The wine and the cocktails are good and the four-course meals cost about 40-50$ per person, which is a bargain for a restaurant in the plateau and the level of of sushi and french pastries that you get. Satoshi made us miso soup and a plater of maki and Sashimi for me and the family. The fish is fresh and Satoshi knows his fish. Francois, the french chef, served us molten goat chese salad and prepared his special creme brulees and fondant au chocolat. Five stars, definately going back there.
Excellent experience at Sa-Fran last week! I like this opening choice between those two cuisines, or either the possiblitie of discovering both of them. All staff is very professional and friendly. You will not regret your visit at Sa-Fran. Enjoy!
2h until we get our meal. Food was ok. Waiter offer a shooter for the table (we were 14 for a birthday, so clearly, we spent more than 1500$ on a VERY quiet night). In the end, he put the shots on one girl account and the manager came and was very rude about it. Very unprofessional and cheap from him. Never going back.
