Sésame - Montréal

Family of 5 went for the 6 course tasting menu. There was so much delicious food! Set menu in different courses. Tom Yum soup was delicious, but don't worry, it's not sharp, but still very good. Served with tea and ice cream sample for dessert. We only had 2 hours since we wanted to see the fireworks in Old Montreal at 10, when I went back, I would have preferred to have 2.5 to 3 hours since we came through the courses at the end. Friendly staff, wine was cheap and was 15% with the tasting menu. Tasting menu was enormous value only $44 / person

This evening from October 23rd. I felt I was an inconvenience from the beginning. At a bar that was good. Not enough waiting staff, and it remained to wait for age. Beer was poured with a massive...”head”, once asked. The service was dirty. I was not offered water while other customers were. The food was best average. When I asked for a hot sauce, it was knocked down on the bar. When paying, I was asked why no tip. I said I'd leave money when the service was good. Don't come back here. Many better and more authentic places to eat.

The service here was from this world. There was a very sweet young woman there who was very helpful. Also, celiac friendly.

We ate our first night in montreal. our children were very hungry, and our youngest was not excited for Asian cuisine, as it is a picky esser. everything we ordered was delicious pork dumplings, sommensuppe, padthai, chow my, garnelen tempura salat. the Yuzu beer was dangerously good! for dessert we ordered three and divided lava cake, chao bao and gateau au ausage bangkok. the cheesecake was my favorites surprising, but all were wonderful. the ambiente of the restaurant was peaceful, and the servers were friendly and attentive. two thumbs from Picky-Esser 8 years old!

Stupendous, fresh food! Wonderful variety of rice noodles, various sauces and proteins- mix and match. Server was professional, bright, knowledgeable and made recommendations that we observed and we were grateful. Just a wonderful evening and a nice change of food scene in Montreal.
