La Terrasse du Petit Palais - Montreux

Great view, attentive and friendly staff, extensive menu and overall fabulous experience. I expected it to be way more expensive than it was.

Delicious dinner mixed salad with shrimp followed by Garganellis pasta in tomato sauce and candied lemon.

The restaurant has a beautiful view of the lake, which I suspect you are paying because the restaurant is very expensive. We had lunch when we arrived in Montreux on the way to Chamonix from Geneva. For a Fairmont property it was... a little down and tired and while the staff was helpful, the whole experience was not worth it. I'm sure there are other places with good views that would be a better experience overall.

We had lunch and dinner while we visited Montreux for a few days. What stands out most is the beautiful location opposite Lake Geneva and the friendly, attentive staff. The food was also excellent. Wonderful place for lunch or dinner. It is part of the Fairmont Palace Hotel

I had dinner with my family here, the staff was very nice, the atmosphere is excellent, the salads were great, we loved them, but we were disappointed by our main course that were the lamb, veal and beef and fried Octopus, we... expected them better, and the costs were high, we paid 400 Swiss francs for 5 people.
