Restaurant le Paradise - Montreux

We passed this restaurant on the way from the train station, and decided to stop there for lunch a couple hours later.The buffet looked very colorful and inviting, and my husband was tempted by the shrimp, which he loves.After biting into one, I could see that they were hard and tasteless, more like overcooked chicken than shrimp. On the other hand, the small shrimp salad, was tasty.The salads were ok, there was a large fried selection which we didn't take, but did take a couple of what looked like fried prawns. Also tasteless and bland. Not sure what it was.Just a plate of food, not piled high and nothing extra will come to around $18-20.A young man who seemed like the manager, was very nice.From Kosovo, I think.There were many Muslems eating there, we also live in the Middle East, the food seemed to have a Middle Eastern orientation, at least the salads...

We ate lunch here and had a continuing fight with birds and flies as the restaurant was open to the street. I had the buffet which wasn't very good- food was cold. others orderd off the menu and had a better meal.

Buffet mit warmer und kalter Küche ohne Bedienung.Salate und kalte Vorspeisen sind von guter Qualität und schmecken zufriedenstellend.Warme Vorspeisen sind kalt und müssen im Mikrofon gewärmt werden, wobei die Qualität leidet.Reichhaltiges Dessert- Buffet Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt jedoch.

La mauvaise hygiène.Buffet avec beaucoup de choix, mais très gras plusieurs mets.Il est fréquenté surtout par une clientèle moyen oriental et touristes de passage;

Nous avons mangé 2 kebab mixte (agneau/poulet) 10.- le kebab. Il n etait pas tres gros mais assez bon, peu de viande a l intérieur mais quelques frites, plutot bonnes. Le prix des boissons est excessif, 4.70 pour un Fanta 0.5 l.
