My mom had the blueberry pancake which she enjoyed very much and my uncle, an extremely picky eater had scrambled eggs and bacon. Mom and I thought ours was delicious and would return again in a heartbeat. My uncle was less impressed he is very fussy and has some peculiar eating habits) as they only offer sourdough toast which was not to his liking he would have preferred toasted Wonder Bread) and they only offer 2 percent milk and Sugar In The Raw he wanted whole milk and white sugar). As I said before, my mom and I will definitely be back and I think First Watch is a very welcome addition to area. I wish them much success.
Known for their award-winning breakfast, brunch, and lunch cuisine, this establishment has opened its sixth location at The Shoppes at DePiero Farm in Montvale. It's a prime location. My partner and I have been to several places outside of Jersey and decided to finally have lunch on this first Saturday in autumn. Upon arrival, it gives you the feeling of a rustic farmhouse that is spacious, warm, comfortable, and filled with light because of all the large windows. The décor is totally charming, consisting of Mason jars, iron skillets, antique watering cans, hanging Edison light bulbs, antique doors suspended from the ceiling, and light shades made with wooden slats. The wait time quoted was 30 minutes, but we got to our table within 20. Our server was Arlyn. Their menu focuses on the breakfast through lunch offerings, where the dishes and beverages are healthy, eye-appealing, and tasty. The seasonal menu rotates five times a year. We decided on a Monterey Club sandwich with turkey, bacon, avocado, organic mixed greens, tomato, Monterey Jack, and mayo on sourdough, accompanied with Butternut Squash Bisque soup and Roast Beef and Havarti sandwich with Roast Beef, Horseradish Havarti Cheese, house-roasted onions, and tomato with lemon-dressed arugula on grilled Parmesan-crusted sourdough, accompanied with Tomato Basil Soup. The food was tasty and well seasoned with the freshest ingredients around. This was an overall great experience, we can recommend this place.
Delicious bacon (but a little too salty) butternut squash soup, cheesy grits, harvest hash. The space is visually pleasing but it's VERY Loud in here-tall industrial ceiling and no textiles. Service was wonderful
Breakfast is breakfast and there are plenty of places to grab something. What set First Watch apart was the Smoked Brisket Hash plate with 2 eggs, potatoes and pico de gallo. This unexpected dish hit all the textures and flavors in one. I'll look to get back for this before it disappears from the menu!
