L'Estam - Montvalezan

We visited here while skiing on our chalet hosts night off. We always order raclette as a treat on out meal out. Out whole experience of L'Estam was great. We went in to book and the staff member was really friendly, we explained we had children who were being looked after while we would be eating so we wouldn't want to be too late, because we mentioned we would be ordering raclette she had set everything up for us when we arrived for our booking. All of the staff serving were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food itself was great. The interior is very nice and cosy on a cold evening! Would like to think we might visit again one day :

Excellent atmosphere, cozy place, rightly priced. We felt almost at home, service was great and had dinner outside under the igloo!

Food was good, we were asked to leave at 9pm because there was another table booked. Fair enough, except that the restaurant was empty and they took nearly an hour to order our food. Richard (bar person lost the plot and started ranting at us. He even wrote his name on a piece of paper (voluntarily! so apparently I could give him a 'bad ' review on this site. I won 't do that but it is an average place.

Food was lovely went with 2 children, burgers, risotto, pizza all lovely. Staff very friendly limited English speaking and no English menu, however staff very friendly and happy to use google translate! I even asked (via google translate) for customised crepe’s for the kids which they were happy accommodate. Would definitely recommend

Restau de fin de sejour. On arrive le vendredi soir la salle est quasi vide.La salle est sombre, la deco typiquement savoyarde.On commande, et la le temps parait interminable. malgré le peu de monde dans la salle on a du attendre longtemps pour les entrées et encore plus pour les plats.Niveau nourriture rien a redire, les plats sont bons, les produits frais.Le proprio nous confie terminer la saison et part vers Strasbourg pour de nouvelles aventures.
