Good value for money lunch menu. Liked the wood fired pizzas. Will help to sweep the pizza oven now and then before use, to prevent the large patches of burned ash on the pizza sides. Food drinks: Value for money. Good pub lunch options.

Home away from home in the Midlands. The staff and owners are welcoming and accomodating. We had a lovely breakfast every day and the pizza and battered fish and chips are the best. Lovely get away from Durban, close to all the popular restaurants in Nottingham rd. The rooms are newly renovated and serviced daily. Cosy dining room, lounge and bar as well as live entertainment. Family friendly. Couldn't ask for more at this price. Rooms: Very clean and charming. Each comes with it's own theme. I stayed in the Safari room. Nearby activities: Close to the cheese factory and Nottingham Rd. Beautiful trails and many other activities. Safety: Safe parking and felt safe in general. Food drinks: The menu is mainly pub food but tasty and very reasonably priced.

One of the best locations you can find for a hotel. But sadly, other than that, not much worked for us. The room a/c was almost non functional and despite asking for help on the first day itself, no one came to take a look or offer a portable fan for the room. The price was too high for the value it provided. We stayed in quadruple room, perhaps other rooms were better. Rick Steve's travel guide recommended this place. Unfortunately, one of the rare occasions his reco didn't work for us.
