Hog's Breath Cafe

We go to the Mooloolaba Hogies a couple of times a year and it’s generally very good but tonight our steaks were the best I’ve had. I do a lot of traveling and over the last couple of years have been to 7 different Hogies. At some Hogies they don’t grill the prime rib enough and the flavour isn’t as good (it’s critical to get some of the fat to melt) and occasionally you get too much gristle (last time this happened was in Newcastle but to their credit they only charged me half price without an argument). Tonight’s meal was perfect and having been a frequent diner for 22yrs it takes a lot to impress me. The other great thing was it was a birthday dinner and therefore free. If you aren’t a Frequent Diner you’re crazy; for around $20 you’re entitled to a 25% discount on your main meal for life, and a free meal on your birthday (2 meals and the card has paid for itself). A great night out

Couldn’t fault it! Staff were friendly, meals came out quick and the prime rib steak was melt in the mouth delicious. Very happy
