Mooloolah River Fisheries - MOOLOOLABA

We are here right now writing this review, truly the best fish and chips and fresh cooked prawns ever for this trip in Brisbane Sunshine Coast! Highly recommended and a must visit and eat place! Enjoy and Bon Appetite ????

We have been to Mooloolabah many times in the last 5 years and every trip we get a seafood feast at this business. A KG of prawns, dozen oysters, fish and chips and eat it in the park. It is SO fresh and such a good feed it has become a family favourite.

We decided to spoil ourselves with seafood so we thought we might have a seafood platter for 2. Discovering the price we decided to make our own and headed off to Mooloolah river fisheries were we know the fresh and coked seafood is the best. We got fresh prawns oysters Cooked calamari and fish and chips costing us at least 1/2 the price of a seafood platter for two at a restaurant and we could pick the seafood we wanted on the platter win win I reckon

After having discovered that one can purchase fish and chips and have them cooked right there at the market and then head upstairs to enjoy them with a view of the ocean, we decided to do just that - Beautiful meal at a very reasonable price... however - if you prefer the 'chef's version' one can choose from a diverse menu in the upstairs eatery.

Got the fish and chips downstairs and then went upstairs to eat .There is a eating area where you can order seafood as well.Had the best salt and pepper calamari and the scallops were good as well.These were local Hervey bay scallops whereas the ones downstairs were not .
