After that, we waited 80 minutes for our main meal, which we never received. However, the people who arrived after us got their meals before we did. I would not recommend this place at all.
We only got takeout, but the seafood salad we ordered was much more visually appealing than a similar salad from a higher rated restaurant located just behind the main street.
We had the most delicious dinner of whole fried baramundi fish in a Tamarind sauce, crisp delicate inside and delicious sauce finger licking; we also had red duck in a curry sauce with sweet. the duck was delicate and beautifully presented. the restaurant was...ful of customers, but the staff were concerned, friendly and good service and promptly with the drinks and meals
I thought this would be a safe bet for a standard Asian take in view of the reviews, but unfortunately not. I have sewn the pad and it was immersed in oil, with absolutely no taste, everything. only oil. We have our little rice roasted the...Kids, which was $10 for dry burned rice with a ice mixed and a dry chicken kere and glass sauce. earlyling rolls underwhelming frozen then deep fried. Total depriving money
Noticed a lot of patronage at this restaurant as we walked by over the last week so decided to try it. Chose soft shell crab, satay skewers and Japanese octopus balls to kick off. Crab was fine but the plum sauce was clear and lacking...any depth (bottled? Satay skewers were deep fried chicken breast with what I would say was old school horrendous Fountain brand satay sauce. No depth, no texture and vinegar overtones. Japanese octopus balls were just okay by themselves but had a sickly sweet barbeque flavour permeating. Decided not to proceed with mains. Back to the apartment to cleanse our palette and try to move on. Definitely try Pavilion across the road in preference to this let down. Won't be going back...this place should be on My Kitchen Nightmares... I think it only gets bums on seats because of it's lower than average menu prices
