Fontana Italian - Moore

Charming, family-owned local restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. They offer a wide-ranging dinner menu. I do wish they had pizza by the slice or more lunch options available. Also, be sure to bring your own mayo packets if you order a cold sub, as they don't provide any.

I ordered the Veal Parmesan, and I was thrilled to discover it was real veal! It’s quite rare to find that, especially in a small family restaurant in Moore, Oklahoma. The veal was the best I’ve had in recent memory. I did sprinkle some table parmesan on my spaghetti—apologies, but I prefer my spaghetti sauce a bit spicy! Honestly, this restaurant would do exceptionally well on Beltline Rd. in Addison, Texas, which is known for its high-end restaurants in the Dallas Metroplex. My $15 veal would easily sell for $30 there, not to mention extra charges. The background music, reminiscent of Sinatra—perhaps a younger version—was enjoyable, and the service was comparable to upscale dining. Overall, it’s an excellent place to have a delicious, home-cooked Italian meal at an affordable price. My dinner included Veal Parmesan with spaghetti, a house salad with dressing, rolls, and drinks—Blue Moon beer followed by White Zinfandel. My boyfriend and I are huge fans of Italian cuisine, so we decided to try Fontana, and we couldn't be happier with our choice! We started with stuffed mushrooms and fried calamari as appetizers, both of which were absolutely delicious. For our main course, we both ordered the Veal Jerusalem, and it was simply amazing! The veal was incredibly tender, the flavors were rich, and the creamy sauce was wonderfully smooth. Additionally, the portions were generous enough for us to enjoy leftovers for lunch the next day! If you haven’t been here yet, it’s definitely a place you must try!

The fact that this place has been in our own town and we haven’t been here yet makes me hurt! This place blows any other Italian restaurant out of the water. The sauces make a pasta dish and red and white sauces were absolutely amazing. For once, I get a chicken parmigiana made correctly. Prices are extremely reasonable for the portions and quality of food/flavor. Do not hesitate to come try this place! I have found my Italian fix and it’s been right here the whole time! Literally so good, from bread, to pastas, desserts, 10 out of 10!

Wonderful food, nice and quiet atmosphere. Great for a date so you can hear yourselves talk. Service is good and everyone is very nice and polite, yet comfortable. I can't say enough about the food. Best Italian I've ever had, and I've eaten at some very fancy places. You will not go wrong here.
