Virtually no service at all. Waited 20 minutes at table and didn't even get water or silverware. Went there to have a late dinner about 8pm with our puppy. Tried to get to the outdoor section through the gate but it was locked. Hostess had no idea how to unlock it so lifted our 40 lb puppy over it. Got seated to an uncleaned table. Asked politely if it could be wiped down and the hostess returned and handed us some dry paper towels. We told her it would need to be wet to clean off the food and drink spills on the table. She returned with 2 lysol wipes and basically handed them to us so we ended up wiping down the table ourselves while she watched. Then she left and didn't even take away the dirty paper towels. 10 minutes later our waitress arrived. We ordered water and a wine and I asked which Bonesaw beer they had since the draft list just showed 5 companies and not which beer was being served. She said she needed to ask. 10 minutes later we left since she never came back. Waste of time.
First time here, the service was great the food fresh and healthy. I ordered the wood plank salmon my guest ordered the sesame chicken we also ordered the cheese board which was great the coffee was good as well my only issue was the size of my salmon portion I felt it should have been larger given the price point of the dish $29.00). Other than that everything was delicious.
Looking forward to fresh flavors and hardy bites but disappointed they dropped the ball. Service was friendly but veryyy slow. Portions were smaller than we remembered. Flavors were bland except two standout items. Rose sangria $9 each even with the addition of extra simple syrup was very watered down on the bitter side.?? Mexican street corn flatbread had a nice punch of unique flavor for $12. Good to share for a not overly filling taste of summer.? Salads were delicious, well-balanced and fresh; dressing complimented the fruit perfectly. Summer berry salad and watermelon ? salad were each delightful. Those side salads should cost $7 but were $10 each and for the nice quality it was well worth it. No bread. ? Two tiny cups of warm and spicy crab soup tasted nicely at $7 each but came w no bread or other item. Needed potatoes in the veggie mix to make up for the no bread. Skip the bland grilled peach, cucumber, tomato and shaved fennel over watery whipped ricotta. No salt and no crisp bites. For $10 you can get double the ingredients at the store w fresher flavors. Skip the $20 unlabeled 'local, ' cheese board and go to Trader Joe 's, Aldi, Shoprite or Wegman 's and learn where the cheese was sourced and that producer 's story. Pick up a box of crackers too instead of a few wafer thin crackers. A whole pear ? instead of four (yes 4) slices of fruit and a bag of grapes instead of prepicked handful of grapes w a dipping dish of honey and another unnamed accompanyment sauce, that we received. Disappointing seasonal menu. Wanted to order entrees but decided at the rate we were going it was better to head out. Dietary restrictions: Veryy attentive to allergies and medical limitations. Parking: Parking lot needs work but at least it 's free. Drop off your person in need of assistance at the door and drive I handicapped
I enjoyed my food. I enjoy Harvest because the food is tasty, most of the menu can be prepared gluten free and I can indulge without a huge calorie consumption. My 9 year old son wasn’t so thrilled at first (I just wasn’t in the mood for fast food/fried food/pizza the typical 9 yr old preference lol) at my choice of restaurant once he saw the menu. He ate what I suggested and actually enjoyed it. He said he’d come again. I had to play it cool so I just smiled but I was cheering inside. I usually come here with adults. Just wanted to share my story in case a parent has ever second guessed coming here with their tween/teen.
