I had read reviews and reviews before our visit and knew about the changes. other patrons in the restaurant were confused as no direction is given. a very informal table is located in the front of the restaurant, with salads, Italian meat, sweet, hot meatballs, kartoffels, roasted vegetables and a suppe. all are listed in the menu on the line. the idea is to help this “Appetitor” range, and then served for small dishes (cooking) at their table. each is served by the waiter from a large bowl on the plate. then he returns with the next course until 7 small portions are served. they can ask for seconds on one of the small plates and revisit the app station. no dessert or coffee included in $35 flat fee. still byob. my rating is that. I've never seen a waiter work harder. He was a man, and the only worker I saw when we were there. eating was okay. tried as everything prepared, cooked before and microwaves, as necessary to use. we will not return. I'm sorry this spot goes into this direction.
Really nice new menu format from the same owners, chef, waiter by Thomas’ restaurant. serve themselves from the “Salad table” (actually an antipasto table with greens) and then enjoy 7 tasting courses at their table. they can repeat all or all above. allows them to try everything. great value at $30 per person week night, and they can byob. we will be back, but they think we would have enjoyed more with a group of friends who have tasted at once instead of just us both.
Beautiful relaxing experience and eating, as always, was very good.
I enjoyed her rodizio twice. the owner is a hard-working phenomenal cook. I brought my chef and his wife during our last visit and they both said the rogues where the best they ever had. the meatballs are delicious, the beet salad and the mushroom risotto, where the best I had. the gnocchi with broccoli rave, sun-dried tomato and was made perfection. I recommend you try this restaurant. the culinary experience differs from most restaurants of the opposite.
I liked the concept with a rotation of the menu and being able to try everything however if I hadn't reviewed the website beforehand, I wouldn't have known how it worked. The server did not explain anything to us. The food was good but I thought the portions could be a little bigger. Overall we enjoyed our meal.
