I genuinely want to adore this restaurant because I have a passion for Cajun cuisine, but unfortunately, the flavor of the dishes doesn't justify the prices. I've visited a few times...

Our waitress was excellent, but unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our visit. The food tasted good, but the portion sizes were extremely small—not at all like the pictures advertised.

Tonight, my fiancée and I went to Zydecos, marking my first visit in a few years and her first experience there. I must say, I’m disappointed that I can't give more than 5 stars! We started with the gator on a stick appetizer, which was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. For our main course, I shared the Jolie Blond Pasta with my fiancée. The sauce was very creamy and flavorful, and the crusts were also well-prepared and tasty. However, my favorite part of the dish was the toss. After finishing our meal, we indulged in the "Death by Chocolate Cake," which was rich and incredibly tasty. The service was truly wonderful, and I highly recommend this place to everyone who hasn't tried it yet. We will definitely be back!

Another big Mardi Gras-Feier at Zydeco for 2018. Great people, great food all the time, and very fun at this time of yr! There were people in beautiful costumes that was a little 2nd line that was fun with live music, including a scrub board whistles a kazoo leadin' the way! It killed me that my green pepper allergy kept me from trying so many things, but that's my fault. I made my / meal from a beautiful side salad and her oysters frog legs were fantastic. I didn't suffer and a friend had to copy with the frog legs. Yeah, I said frog legs and they're so good next time when there's a plate full for me! My long island wasn't too ashamed either. The ones on our table loved all rubber bears, etc. We had a meeting with old friends we didn't see in 40 years. It was fantastic. next year we will all be in costume! Thanks to the owners for such a cool place and great time! If you missed it, there are still tickets for Fat Tuesday!
