If something, I go to Baja Fresh since the late 90s, as I know how it was earlier and what they seem to change it. I was not too happy with some of the changes, along with the new express model they are trying to push to the public, but I still love the food. Of course there is a time and a place for this discussion, but let me talk about this place because it is really good. This Baja Fresh is located in the corner of the Moorpark Marketplace and it is a little covered by a large arc and outdoor terrace, but worth visiting. Service here is top notch, I loved it, one of the few places I can say where I love the service. For example, on a day when they were a little supported with orders, they offered me chips while I waited what was really thoughtful. The place also looks really clean, love the atmosphere and the high chairs. The Salsa Bar sometimes looks like Whack, but this is understandable as the self serves and people can make a mess. As this review, the place is the traditional model you order and wait for the food. If that's not your thing, there's an express prototype next door in the Simi Valley, but I tried and couldn't force me to go to this, even though the food was the same. It is a completely different experience, so if you are used older Baja, this is a great place to go when you were first introduced into the franchise by the express version, this will be another experience for you. Overall nothing really bad to say, unlike I think it is in a difficult situation to achieve with some stiff competition.
