Chachalacas 3 - Moose Jaw

I am originally from Oklahoma, and grew up eating some type of Mexican food weekly so I was so excited to hear about the option of Mexican food in MJ! We went with a large group to the new store in Moose Jaw, early evening on a Sunday. We were seated fairly quickly and had good service even with our server informing us it was her second day, she did a good job. We all downed the first batch of delicious super fresh salsa, some commented the chips would have been good warmed like other places do, but we ate it all anyway! Our table ordered a variety of things off the menu and everyone was beyond pleased with their order. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and they were FULL of delicious chicken, but I was very disappointed in the enchilada sauce, it was nothing like other enchilada sauces I have had at numerous other places. (More like crushed tomato and not spicy . The beans and rice were awesome. We will go back happily, I 'll just order something different as I was the only one a bit disappointed in what they had. Also the 'queso ' was very watery not cheesy or thick (should stick to the chip! and tasted a bit scalded. The Sopapillas (dessert tasted just like they were supposed to! Loved them down to the last sticky bite!

This place is amazing! Authentic Mexican and fabulous guacamole! Seriously the best guacamole I have ever eaten!

LOVED this place! Best food in Moose Jaw that I've had for a long time. Really authentic cuisine, atmosphere to match! The staff service was very professional the food came out super quick. We will defiantly be back!
