We loved this experience. The chef greeted us.. we were quite early for dinner. There were several tables with people trying wines and beers... it is obviously a great place for young locals to meet each other. We asked if he could make past pomodoro......he made it from scratch, it tasted wonderful. The two staff introduced us to a new wine after we described what we liked, and it was really perfect. Nice, small, intimate place, but also good for groups. Great personal attention and vibe.
This classic café/lunch restaurant/pastery is one place you need to visit in lugano. the coffee is quite expensive but its still worth it.
We spent 40 chf for two pizzas (including a margherita) and a bottle of water. a pizza was so burned that it was hard to eat, I couldn't even finish it. the quality of the pizza was very low (even without...consider that you were completely burned). even if the owners realized how burned the pizza was, they did not offer a discount. in consideration of the price and quality of the service I would say that I have probably never had such bad experiences in a restaurant. really suggest eating somewhere else.
First it seemed like a nice restaurant with inviting people, but at the end the pizza was much too expensive for them low quality. the pizza of my partner was even burned (the bottom of it, so he recognized it a bit too late, and it was very burned) we didn't get a discount for just a cup of coffee for free. at the end the card payment didn't work, they didn't let us try another card, so we paid cash. later we realized that they did not give us the reception. the hostes were even a bit rude when they realized that we could not enjoy the burned pizza so much, although we were friendly and did not complain, they simply showed the pizza.
