Luce Al Gargantini - Morcote

We went to the resturant on the night of the national day as they didn't have a set menu ( other places set menus +70 chf ). We really enjoyed the view ( perfect view over the fireworks) but the quality of the food was average and the service wasn't that great.

We arrived at 6 pm and had to wait 30 mins to order food, when the 40$ steak arrived it was cold cold and tasteless and furthermore the seats were wet outside but we only found out when the water came through.There are definitely better restaurants in the area.

We came here for lunch with our 2 1/2 year old son. He's quite a handful and was running around the (empty) restaurant. The waitress told us to relax and eat in quiet, while she was looking after him. It was our only relaxed meal during our holidays!

Nobody took care of us and nobody tried to understand us the same situation at the next table, where People complained

The service was too slow even though the restaurant was empty. We took assorted cured meats ans cheeses as starter and they didn't bring bread. Nothing special to say about the food. Better to avoid.
