Captain's Table - Morehead City

The staff was friendly and helpful, making our ordering process smooth and enjoyable. The food was served hot and well-seasoned, and my partner and I enjoyed everything we ordered. I will definitely be returning for another visit when I am in the city, and I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Overall, I would rate this restaurant a 5 out of 5 for its excellent service and delicious food.

This restaurant is the top spot in the city for seafood. We absolutely loved the roasted okra, which was recommended to us by our waitress Sydney. If you're searching for a fancy atmosphere, you might want to try one of the pricier restaurants in the city. But if you're looking for delicious food at a reasonable price, this is the place to go! We will definitely be returning again.

Captain’s Table in Morehead City, North Carolina is a local diner you must visit. We were visiting the area, and were so in LOVE with Joey and his staff we had the pleasure to dine twice. The specials are incredible, on our first visit, I ordered beef tips, rice, fried okra, field peas. Desert was a perfectly prepared lemon meringue pie. On our second visit I ordered another special baked chicken, covered in gravy and the same sides. All the diners with me loved their food too. Homemade banana pudding, just like grandma’s, my choice of desert. They serve breakfast all day, as well as, seafood and you standard entrees. My husband reported the pork chop special was the best he had eaten. And the portion size was huge. Shrimp grits, clam chowder, seafood combos, country fried steak, burgers, BBQ. Desert comes with dinner! You will be delighted with this down home diner, the staff are a genuine as you will find.

My favorite place for comfort food, wide selection of sides! Today I had blackened scallops, a side salad and fried okra in a very light crisp batter, absolutely delicious! Big shout out to Nadia for excellent service and conversation too!
