Cook Out - Morehead City

I eat at cookout all the time and have been to many different cookouts and always get the same meal. Never had any issue anywhere. Got food here today, and while eating it, a friend told me several of his friends recently got food poisoning from undercooked food here. And sure enough a few hours later I got sick. Only thing I had to eat all day was from here. Got a chicken sandwich and a chicken quesadilla. Quesadilla tasted like it’d been sitting out all day, wasn’t warm. The chicken sandwich was smothered in mayo that always was warm. Not sure if proper procedures are being followed here but I believe the sanitation score is in the very low 90’s

Food is good , wish my sandwich was more than a chicken tender.

The shakes are awesome but the cheeseburgers are greatly lacking. I ordered a double cheeseburger that turned out to be a very thin patty cut in half and stacked...wth cookout...

Food's always good. Can't beat the value. The store in Morehead is one of my favorites.
