Soundside - Morehead City

I've loved this restaurant for quite some time. I decided to take my mother here for her birthday tonight. The food was just as perfect as when I last had it. Chris, the chef, is phenomenal, and his French onion soup is one of the best I've ever tasted. The staff is amazing, and Katy, the bartender, is incredibly knowledgeable about food and wine. This has definitely become my favorite place to go!

The food was incredibly delicious! The server was outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised by the individual crab cake, which was really tasty. By far, the highlight was the black grouper and collar—absolutely delightful! I can't wait to return.

I don't usually make reviews, but I had to let people know what a wonderful place is! My charcoal grilled steak was cooked for perfection and literally melted into my mouth. The wine selection is excellent. Our server was large city professional and small city warm at once. SoundSide creates the perfect mix of an elegant culinary experience with a cosy family atmosphere. Go! You won't regret it!

Exceptional food. The best steak I had in the state of North Carolina. Fresh, clean, tasty, tasty. Katie, our server was super attentive, friendly and AWESOME. The hostess was very thoughtful, and let us know that there was a big party before us, and our order could take a little longer than expected. This turned out to be not true at all, food was perfect! All employees had a good mood, knowledgeable and represented boss Chris with pride. Beautiful birthday dinner for me! Definitely will return.

I went into this restaurant I thought they were open. The floors were spotless I could literally eat off of the floor. Very clean restaurant. The tables and chairs were quality for anyone wanting to sit and dine in at this five star restaurant that I have rated it. I saw a check on the counter and did not see any employees so I left when I saw it. Nice establishment Soundside Restaurant. I will come back to place an order another time.
