Atami Japanese Restaurant - Moreland

We ate here with the family, very nice food at a reasonable price. The decor inside is a little tired but the food makes up for that. There is a little noise from traffic but overall a very good meal - we will definitely eat there again.

We visited on a Saturday night.(3 adults, 2 kids). We didn't have a booking but arrived just after 5:30pm & there were plenty of tables. Restaurant decor looks a bit dated, but chairs were comfy & the eating area was warm.The agedashi tofu was superb for entree as was a bento box for main. (Very reasonably priced at under $20) The kids shared a selection of their "faves" which included some gyoza, teriyaki sticks & salmon rolls. Overall, the servings were generous and the staff were very friendly. This would have to be one of the cheapest Japanese restaurants around, worth a visit for sure!Whilst we are not from this part of town, we are looking forward to a return visit ASAP.

This restaurant is very nice. All the food I had was lovely and a fair price. However, I absolutely love takoyaki, of which they don't have. So I have to go all the way to Brunswick for my fix from pascoe vale. If takoyaki was on the menu they would see me every week.

The decor is dated/tired, but the wait staff are pleasant. They laughed along with us at my very poor attempts at ordering the correct names of the dishes.We shared 5 or 6 entrees and were full when we'd finished. Very reasonable prices, will definitely go again
