Feedback gevenHad lunch here today, self service bar, plates are smaller than average but the food is excellent, loved the spicy pork and the bbq beef.. Noodles were not the best but the rest of the food more than makes up for this. Would happily eat here again.
I have eaten at this restaurant before in the food court of Paramount Centre at the top end of Collins Street. However today was different. The "self serve" bar is almost as good as the others there, however they have upped their price to $8.90 a dish which is around $1 more than the others. That's ok but they've also cut the range of food back. You can get a Japanese pancake but it is hard to know what is in it other than some cabbage and white stuff. Then you've got some crispy chicken stuff and mince meat. The mince was great but the overall choice poor. The food was also very greasy. It was one of those experiences where I had to go to the mens afterwards and spit the grease out into the handwash bowl a few times before drinking some water to get rid of it.For a dollar less, you can go to any of the others in the same area for better feed.Oh and I forgot to mention the service. The staff member was quite unenthusiastic although her colleague made up for it. Still, i had to ask for the plate after I paid, got a really bendy fork which wasn't fun and no serviette ... to wipe the grease away.
My boyfriend and I are big fans of Japanese and Korean cuisine, so when we saw that Donburi was available for delivery on Menulog, we were thrilled.
This restaurant is great for a budget-friendly meal. I have visited multiple times and have found it to be quite enjoyable.
We ordered a vegetarian bimbimbap, a beef bimbimbap, and soft shell crab from eatnow.com.
