The restaurant offers several picnic tables with parasols, a single bathroom with running water, and a sink toilet. The menu mainly consists of burgers and fries, but they also serve large local hard ice cream. When we left, there were around a dozen cars in the parking lot. It's the perfect spot for a quick "dinner" after a long hike, especially when you're sweaty and messy. There is also indoor seating available in an old shed with two tables for two and a large picnic table. Nana's old farm sales materials are still displayed on a pot table for sale, adding to the charm of the place.
Great food at a great price. 2 weeks in our maritime holiday and the children all said it was the best food so far... Fishburgers and hamburgers plus onion rings and broken mushrooms. And they were also able to make my celiac woman a delicious and safe chicken salad wrap. It is not fantastic, but it is good food served by friendly people.
Friendly staff and probably one of the better, nearly only places for food out to Greenwich park area. The fish sandwich really was good. The hamburger was really basic, all worth the stop though.
We stopped here after our trip to Greenwich National Park, which is close by. It is located on a potato farm and overlooks the water. There were lots of bugs but there is a small shed set up as an indoor eating area which we...used. I ordered the seafood platter and perogies. Everything was deep fried. My piece of haddock was not fully cooked and the fries were a bit saturated in oil, which made me a bit uneasy about the whole meal. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich and thought it was great.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! The cozy atmosphere and the passionate staff make it a delight to visit. We were warmly greeted and enjoyed delicious, freshly made dishes. We had a wonderful dining experience and highly recommend stopping by.
