Fonta Flora Brewery - Morganton

Was excited to try the Fonta Flora Brewery but didn't have a chance due to the masking policy. Masks required unless seated, didn't try to see if it was enforced, just not that interested. Cute spot in downtown Morganton, looks clean, food truck was arriving on Friday night. Outside seating available. Rating based on location, visual email amenities and corporate policy.

Beautiful place...if it wasn't for the straight bitches working behind the bar it would be great. If you are into communism and patchouli then this is the place for you. If you appreciate America and freedom then steer clear.

In town for the weekend, what a great find right across the street from the Fairfield hotel. Excellent selection of beers to try out. I like pilsners, not many brewers have one, Fonta Flora had two on tap. This is the right way to start the night, or day. Well run, excellent service. I'd stay at the Fairfield again on the next trip just to walk across the street to this place.

My wife and I spent the night in town on our way to Asheville specifically to check out the brewery and explore downtown. The beer list was nice. They've got plenty of variety and everything that we tried was well done. We sat outside on a beautiful night. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere (inside and out) was really comfortable. They're doing a great job with covid precautions and you can't beat the convenience of the Fairfield Inn across the street. We'll definitely come back.

We would also stop at Fonta on our way to Asheville and decided to do it again. It had been a few years but the place hasn't changed. Still a great selection of beers and a very spacious area with comfy sitting areas. I also really liked their merch.
