Steak was excellent! Quite a variety on the menu. Plenty of sandwiches, salads, seafood, ribs, Italian...and a wonderful view! Pull your boat up!
Awesome Bartender!. Lacey was our bartender last night. We had great service! She busted her butt to satisfy us and a large party on the deck. She really is really polite and fun to talk to. We will be back again to see her! :
This place has a notoriously high turnover rate; they seem to fire employees for just about any reason. If you ask for a day off, whether it's for class, illness, or a family emergency, expect to be given a hard time. They tend to schedule almost every employee every night, which means no one makes more than $100 in a shift and there’s little opportunity for breaks during the week. The managers expect servers to juggle multiple tasks—running food, busing tables, cleaning up, answering phone calls—while also managing several tables at once. Can we get some support, please? The managers are not approachable at all; no one in that establishment is. If you dare to ask a simple question, you might end up getting yelled at or facing a sarcastic reply. The bottom line is, do not work here; you will regret it!
This restaurant at Cheat Lake is fantastic! We had heard great things about their wings, so we decided to try the Corona wings, and they were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend them. The hostess was very welcoming, and we were seated on the deck with Lacy as our server and bartender. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, even crafting some drinks for us that we had never heard of before. It seems like we’ve found a new favorite spot!
