Tropics - Morgantown

I'm field guy who had to cover West Virginia for a coworker on vacation. I was in a travel status for two weeks with the first week being in the Morgantown area. The second week I was scheduled to work an hour away from Morgantown, but I chose to stay at the Cranberry Hotel in Morgantown area because of the Tropics Restaurant and Bar next door. By my 2nd day there, the whole staff at Tropics remembered my name and made me feel special. The positive energy was very infectious, and I can't thank the staff enough for the wonderful experience!

Came here for brunch! What a great place. The atmosphere is nice, there was Lu e music, the service was awesome...and the food was fantastic. Will definitely be back

Amazing outdoor seating area- tiki bar area as well as tables. Friendly staff. Delicious drinks. they have nightly specials!!

Great service, wonderful and bubbly staff, great deals on food and drinks! HUGE inside restaurants and the outside dining area is beautiful and spacious. we came on a Tuesday and they offered $3 tacos, $5 margaritas, and 70 cent wings! would recommend to anyone looking for great ambiance and wonderful seafood

I was in the area on an errand and found this place nearby. The Tropics restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining along with an arcade room. There is plenty of seating both indoor and out along with a bar. It is Hawaiian themed so I decided to try a pineapple chicken sandwich along with a side salad with mango vinaigrette dressing. I got the salad first and it was a decent size. The mango dressing gave it the right amount of flavor. I got my chicken sandwich shortly after. It was big, delicious and messy!! I'm glad they give you napkins at the table because I would have been asking for more. I really enjoyed it. My waitress came around periodically to check on me and I was grateful for that. This is a great place to eat if you have things to do in Cranberry Square. Located close to the start of WV 43 and I 68, they have their own parking lot.
