Country Pride - Moriarty

Had Thanksgiving special , 2 small pieces of turkey, a small piece of ham(tough), plain dressing, a small amount of mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and beans. Nothing was very warm. Gravy only on potatoes. Waited 20 minutes for all that. It was an all-you-can-eat dinner, wasn 't going to wait for any more cold food. $25 for garbage. Never asked by waitress how dinner was or if I wanted anything else. I will NEVER eat at this truck stop again.

Waitress was friendly but that's the only thing nice I can say. The biscuts were served upside down so the gravy just sat on the top of the stale bread. So I thought I would try the apple rolls and ice-cream, well those were so hard the ice cream didn't help to soften them up, maybe if they weren't room temperature... 1st and last time I'll ever be here.

The general manager was extremely unprofessional, rude, and aggressive during our visit. She yelled at us when we tried to add chairs to our table and even pushed the chairs, which made my elderly mother feel uncomfortable and anxious. I really wouldn't recommend this place for larger groups, as she clearly struggles to manage them. Additionally, she made comments about our group to her staff after we raised concerns about her aggressive behavior. This individual is not suited for a customer service role, and I genuinely believe she mistreats her customers.

I visited the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised to find very few customers. Most tables were dirty, and several staff members were gathered in the back, chatting. We weren't greeted at all, so we chose the cleanest table we could find, even though half the dining area was closed off. After sitting there for about 10 minutes, we were ready to leave when a woman finally came out to check on the only other patron in the restaurant. We thought she would come over to serve us, but instead, she just walked back to the kitchen without saying a word!

After being in the road for quite a while, this breakfast was certainly fulfilling. Just felt bad for the staff. One waitress, one cook (the manager) and one dishwasher. The waitress was trying her best to get to everybody coming in and making sure you knew she didn't forget you where there. Would certainly go back because of that.
