The pot, or just 'the pot', as the name would mean. this place seems to have its regular guests who know the waitress (the owner) well and continue to come back to her. when we were there were only three guests in the room who had a whole series of tables and a beautiful interieur. However, no music was played, and no other sound, so we felt that the place was very quiet. it created a very special atmosphere, not unpleasant, but unusual and quiet. the waitress quickly gave us the menu card and time to decide. we ordered turbot meuniere as we wanted to fish. to go with it, we had a bottle of sauvignon blanc, which was very good. the fish was butter fried and came with potatoes, rice and cooked vegetables, but seasonally lacked quite a lot, so that salt and pepper had to be added. as dessert we had ice and cream browle. the meal was good, but without much taste, no fuss, you could say. the waitress spoke to the guests, and with us, and we found them very charming, a special character. a special place with its own charm that we might come back.
We had a pleasant meal in this restaurant. The clientele mainly seemed to be locals as they greeted one another on arrival. Of course, there were also a few tourists like us having a meal here. The inexpensive meals were simple: meats cooked as requested...were plated with good chips and salad that’s it. No foams, squiggles of sauce on the plate nor spooned mash on the plate. In addition to the menu, a number of daily specials are displayed on the wall. No English was spoken by the staff as far as I can tell we ordered with basic French.
This is a small restaurant in Morlaix. We wanted some fish and the turbot and John Dory (St Pierre in French) did not disappoint. The starters were generous French onion soup and advocado prawn were delicious but meant we had no room for dessert....We really enjoyed our meal washed down with a bottle of Muscadet. At 50 Euros we thought this was good value. We stay in Morlaix on our way back to the UK and we will definitely eat here again.
I am surprised by everything that was written on this restaurant!!! we tested it by chance last Sunday and very frankly we were pleasantly surprised! it is on the reception of the boss can surprise. But his character is worth the detour, how to speak! She is straight, without too much flonflons, but she advises perfectly!a a girl who wanted to go flat she advised the dish only because it was very copied. I have rarely seen a restorer dissuade you from ordering a dish! For our part, we have taken avocado dressing in the entrance ... at 3,10 € !!! then multi meat brochette for my wife and a paved for me. with very good fries of overcrowding. For dessert the chocolate mousse was home ... and at 3.5 €!There is a menu at 25 € that my neighbor had taken and that was delicious according to his impression. Lobster is also available and at a standard rate for the region. The fried mussels are 9,90. We also took a bottle of chinon at €17. and we found it very good ! more the restaurant is located in the center of morlaix in the pedestrian streets. If you want to change pancakes and pizza, it's a place to discover. The room can contain 36 people in total and it was full during our dinner. the world was regularly denied during our meal. The service is fast and 2 very friendly girls assist the boss.
