Highly recommend if you're looking to get away from the bigger, flashier, and more corporate wineries springing up on the Peninsula. Great wines, low key service, value for money and large meals. There's a fireplace however can still be cold in winter so dress warm or visit spring/autumn.
Went for lunch with friends. The food was excellent. We all had the roast pork and it was divine! The desserts were delicious too. The staff were friendly and the service was very quick. The wine was also very nice.Nice country atmosphere and would highly recommend!
Booked for a special Family lunch. What a great place for this event on a wintery Sunday. The room was busy, and sometimes a little noisy, but that's just because it is such a great atmosphere. Everyone seemed to be in groups, either family or friends, with only a couple of smaller tables. It is that sort of place: One to visit in a group for a relaxed meal.We enjoyed a couple of pizzas as a starter (excellent - not my idea, but it worked!!), then 3 of us had the Beef Bouguignon. Joy oh joy! Well marinaded beef cheeks with a delicious sauce, and a decent serve of mash. We also had a pork roast (excellent), and the kids split a risotto. All good.Service was not super quick, but we were kept informed. A group of 19 (not us) can slow things down a bit in the best of kitchens!
Had a wonderful lunch with my wife and daughter. Baked salmon steak with kipfler potatoes and asparagus and the house special pizza (olives, mushrooms, prosciutto, salami) with pinot gris and shiraz followed by stick date pudding and Eton mess. The food was excellent, service warm and friendly. Highly recommended.
We went for a drive on a beautiful Saturday afternoon on the Mornington Peninsula. Found this winery tucked away in little old Moorooduc. We sat outside - very informal seating but just what we were after. It was a bit late for lunch so we were pleasantly surprised when the antipasto platter came out.Quite substantial and very tasty. Complimented the very tasty Pinot Gris.Wonderful relaxing day in a nice location with great food and wine.
