I got my usual veggie bagel with light veggie cream cheese (big chunks of carrot and bell pepper), lettuce, and tomato. I thought I saw they had cucumber but didn?t get any in my bagel. They also have a large selection of bagel flavors including some unusual ones (no one in all of NJ or NY make jalapeño cheddar though, much to my despair). Of course I got my favorite, plain. No line at 7am, they were quick and have plenty of tables and seating inside. Nothing fancy as far as decor, interior was showing its age but you go for the bagels not the atmosphere. Also have coffee cakes, muffins, and some other baked goods. I found parking on the street outside. Credit card surcharge of $1 for any totals less than $10, be forewarned.
So happy TFAB is open on Saturday and Sunday, as my husband and I love a weekend bagel stop. Great east coast style bagels with a boiled outside and fluffy inside. We visited at 1 pm on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised with the variety of bagels that were still available it?s not often this that this happens in the afternoon. This will be our go to spot to grab a dozen bagels moving forward. Last but not least, be sure to add a cup of coffee to your order. Both of the drip coffees (house and crème brûlée) that I tried were delicious.
The line can get pretty long but it moves along relatively quickly. They have a good variety of bagels. I was surprised they still had so many in stock considering I got there at like 10am on a Saturday and the line wrapped around to the door. They also have a large array of spreads including a unicorn cream cheese at this time. They also had unicorn, snickerdoodle, and super cinnamon raisin bagels. I got a Taylor ham and egg on a whole wheat everything bagel which was tasty! This place gets busy but they have lots of staff who are pretty nice. Service is quick too! There is street parking as well as a parking area in the back.
Cute little bagel store in the heart of morris plains. We got a classic lox on bagel and the corned beef bagel sandwich both were delicious with a generous serving of cream cheese and meat. The service was also friendly and quick even though they were busy, would recommend!
Bagels are great. If you're cutting through Morris Plains for breakfast or want a fresh bag of bagels this is where you go. I ordered up over a dozen just to bring them back to Texas with me. Love their bagels.
