Enver's Of Morriston

Went on Thursday for steak and frites special. Food and service were both excellent, thank you!

Delicious food and excellent service. We travel to Hamilton routinely and this restaurant is a highlight of our day. Lunch is always delicious too. It is easy to find with a large sign situated on the sidewalk.

Nice ambiance, good service but limited menu that is over priced :

This was our second visit to Enver's just as good as the first time round. Enjoyed the beauty day eating on the patio will do that again.

We noticed that the menu options have significantly decreased since our last visit. We shared a charcuterie board as an appetizer, but to our surprise, there was no cheese on it at all! When the young man brought the appetizer to our table, he simply placed it at the edge instead of in the center, and he did not explain the items on the board, leaving us to guess what some of them were. For my main course, I ordered the fish special, which was pickerel, and it was quite good. It was accompanied by some toasted Brussels sprouts, but there were only a few on the plate. My husband ordered the seafood pasta, which arrived completely devoid of seafood. When the waitress delivered our meals, she offered us fresh pepper, which we accepted, and it wasn’t until we began to eat that we realized the pasta had no seafood at all. My husband sifted through the pasta, hoping to find at least a few pieces, but there were none. We had to call the waitress over to ask if this was indeed the seafood dish. She apologized and took the plate back to the kitchen, returning about five minutes later with a fresh dish that included several large shrimp and scallops. Given such a significant kitchen error, we expected some form of compensation or discount, but that was not offered. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant again. The overall quality has really declined, possibly due to a new chef or inadequate waitstaff. The accompanying photos illustrate the stark difference between the pasta dishes with and without seafood—there’s hardly any comparison!
