Buddy's -b-q Morristown

It's not my top choice for BBQ, but it's consistently good, and I really enjoy the side dishes. My favorite is the HAWGBACKED potato.

Pork barbecue should be tender, with juicy portions that practically fall off the bone, featuring honey and secret BBQ recipes from across our great nation. The last time I had barbecue, however, it resembled small, broken toothpicks! Absolutely not! I'm sitting here wondering what this mystery meat is and who in the world would dare insult a proud American tradition like barbecue. This is unacceptable, and I won't be back for more. In my opinion, someone really needs to either improve their game or step aside. It’s time to make way for the real barbecue lovers out there. I’m done, and I mean it—never again!

Buddy’s consistently delivers on their food. The fries are fresh and the barbecue comes generously slathered in sauce. The beans and coleslaw are tasty and typical of what you’d find in a casual dine-in or fast food barbecue spot. Don’t miss the spicy pickles by the drink machine—they're delicious and sure to clear your sinuses! If you enjoy hush puppies, theirs are excellent, and a server frequently offers extras. I ordered the pulled pork platter, and given the price, quality, and portion sizes, Buddy’s is a budget-friendly option for satisfying your barbecue cravings.

Party of 4. We ordered the meal deal for 5. I have big eaters for us it served 4. Our sides were potato salad, coleslaw and beans. 1 extra drink and 1 order of corn. (pulled pork) $47.00. It was good, but being a chef I can’t give it 5 stars. The best thing was the corn and hushpuppies. The pork was good. slaw good but potato salad and beans was most certainly from a tub. All that being said I would most likely go back. My family thought it was good and it felt more like a treat than take out. I also love these little fast food gems. I will be back.

Absolutely the worst BBQ place I’ve ever been to. For a place to call themselves BBQ in TN and serve what we were served is sad. The brisket wasn’t even brisket it was more or less roast beef. It was chewy and dry. The ribs were dry and had a tooon of fat on them. The chicken was probably the best. The sides were great though but that’s all I ate cause the brisket was nasty. The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean but the food was just awful. Will not be returning here probably ever again.
