North Country Cakes - Morrisville

We hoped to enjoy the donuts, but they turned out to be quite greasy and dense. The exterior of the shop is particularly disappointing, especially for a donut shop. Our first impression was that they don't prioritize providing a great overall experience. The plants outside are dead, weeds are nearly a foot high, and the paint is chipped and dirty. The windows are also grimy and cloudy, making it one of the least inviting places I've encountered. It wouldn’t take much effort to improve this situation unless they simply don’t care, and that seems to be the case. It's really unfortunate.

It's a bit disappointing that this place is only open on the weekends. However, the excitement of being able to visit on a Friday morning is one of my favorite highlights of the week.

Honestly, I love this place! The menu changes every week, and they are always coming up with amazing donut flavors! They do have some comeback favorites that will rotate into the menu about once a month.
