Viva Df Tequila Taco - Morrisville

The restaurant offers tasty casual Mexican cuisine and features fun, modern decor. While the service was a bit slow, it was during brunch hours on a Saturday. I found the Viva margarita quite underwhelming, as it resembled orange juice and was priced at $6.99, which was somewhat disappointing.

I've visited Viva three times and enjoyed each experience. My favorite dish is the chicken fajita (with just onions and no dairy), while my vegetarian father loves the veggie fajita, which includes tofu and a variety of interesting vegetables. I recommend bringing a sweater or jacket as the restaurant can get quite chilly inside. They also have games available for both kids and adults, including a foosball table and a corn hole/bean bag toss. The service is always friendly. During our last visit, we tried the mango agua fresca and horchata, both of which were delicious! Additionally, there’s a partially partitioned room in the back that can be reserved for parties or large groups.

This restaurant is an excellent choice for Mexican food. The customer service is outstanding, and the dishes are incredibly tasty. The prices are very affordable as well. They also offer drawing sheets and crayons for children, which is a lovely addition. Every guest is served tortilla chips and salsa, and the salsa is particularly delicious. If you're celebrating a birthday during lunch or dinner, don't forget to inquire about their birthday surprise!

However, if you're feeling adventurous, I recommend trying their custom tacos for a unique experience. My top pick so far is the Bacon and Scallop taco served on a warm corn tortilla. Each taco comes topped with cabbage, pineapple, crema Mex, and sesame seeds. It may sound like an unusual combination, but one bite will dispel any doubts you might have. For dessert, they offer several delicious choices. I usually don't care for tres leches cake, but their version has won me over and often makes its way home with me to complete a fantastic meal. I highly recommend this place for your next lunch or dinner!

My boyfriend and I visited Viva Mexican Kitchen for the first time, and we absolutely loved it! We ordered the Parrillada for two and enjoyed a Viva la Piña Margarita. I highly recommend this place, whether you're looking to hang out or have a romantic date.
