Rock Espresso - Morro Bay

How can you take an Icon that’s lasted 25+ years in Morro Bay and change the name to some abomination of the original name . One thing you want in a tourist town that is frequented by multigenerational repeat tourist customers is : Name recognition . Now they can put a name on why it’s not the place it use to be : that name appears to be Rudy. It will always have been better as THE ROCK ESPRESSO BAR

Rudy’s Rock is a rocking good way to start your day. The coffee is as smooth and delicious as the baristas (my Mexican mocha was the perfect mix of heat and not too sweet) and freshly baked from scratch pastries and quiches oh so tasty. Coffee shop in the small town full of coffee, they stand out with their strength of coffee. Extremely friendly staff and really comfortable cute atmosphere to drink your coffee. The back is a comfortable garden setting. We even saw a hummingbird in the back garden.

The best breakfast in Morro Bay. The Rock Sandwich is an entire meal on an Everything bagle. It's fantastic!!! The Americano coffee is the best coffee. Great garden sitting area in back, people watching tables in front.
