The Little Tarte Cafe - MORTLAKE

Quaint little cafe with super friendly staff. Provides seating inside and some outside (pet friendly). Excellent coffee, serves breakfast and lunch. Can cater also for corporate/private events. Have visited frequently and whenever possible we come back. Never disappointed!!!Hot pies, sausage rolls and delicious pastries to round out any meal or afternoon tea. Yum yum!!

Just dropped by last week, I had the homemade Mango Chia pudding and a coffee, nothing bad to say. Friendly staff and the little sweets looked amazing

When we moved to Breakfast Point I had visions if this cute looking cafe becoming my local breakfast haunt, but unfortunately it's justified in not worth another visit. Like most tartes it looks great but it's all a bit shallow, no substance to reflect the pretty outside. Staff were so slow. They were very smiley and happy, but not actually helpful in getting your order right. It's high prices would be ok if they had good service to match. The food is disappointing but it's the glacial speed of things that is most annoying. But even then they didn't get my order correct. No apology when I pointed out their mistake. Just an inane, insanely annoying grin from the woman behind the counter ! No refund or offer to replace it with the correct order. Just those stupid smiley faces

This little corner cafe offers a range of sweet and savoury tarts & pastries as well as breakfast options & a simple high tea. The savoury pies are good & tasty & the eclairs are different especially with mango cream, but its the sweet tarts that I love. Whether its rich chocolate caramel or a classic lemon meringue or frangipane tart, its the perfect little treat with a coffee or tea.

Been here a few times and every time the coffee (a single one mind you) takes ages to make and service is always cold Many other cafes around with nicer service
