Polite, pleasant staff. The event was at Dania Furniture and the menu was Scandinavian foods and mini desserts. Very well done.

Catering by Michaels was hands down the best choice we made for our wedding. Our coordinator, Moriah, took us through every stage of planning our day and delivered with extreme attention to detail and efficiency. She was fantastic to work with. And the crew! Every server and bar tender was thoughtful, excited and attentive to me, my husband and our guests. Our food was SO good. “Wedding food” gets a bad rap, but the meals and appetizers we served our guests were anything but! All our food was truly so fresh, hot and delicious. I cannot recommend Catering by Michaels enough!!

We worked with Moriah at Catering By Michaels for our wedding at Garfield Park Conservatory last month. When looking at the Chicago parks district approved vendors, my husband and I decided we also wanted to work with vendors that are community and sustainability minded. Catering By Michaels is also a vendor with the Green Wedding Alliance, which we used as an additional resource to find vendors who are committed to environmentally sustainable practices. We are SO happy we did! Moriah did an amazing job helping us create a menu that we were excited about (two vegetarians planning food for a meat potato crowd, ha! and also worked to find ways to reduce the budget without sacrificing the flavor. Our guests were raving about the lemon thyme chicken and gnocchi even into the next day! I personally couldn’t get enough of the cauliflower steak and the dijon glazed carrots. Catering By Michaels is so worth it to make your event truly memorable!

Catering by Michaels exceeded our expectations for back-to-back events in the same weekend, one casual and the other formal. We worked with two different event coordinators (Moriah and Megan) due to the style, menu offerings, price point of each event; both were attentive to detail, clear communicators, and collaborated well with our other vendors (venue, decor, planner, etc). Michaels' ability to customize and make creative suggestions made the whole process feel personal.If your event affords the opportunity to sit for a tasting, their central kitchen and attendant service is an event in and of itself. Seriously! Hearing the chef's perspective, coupled with the coordinator's creative vision, made the process far more fun than stressful.Most importantly, of course, is the actual execution. Our guests raved about the quality and sophistication of everything, from tuna push-pops to a room of decadent desserts...and everything in between. Entrees were timely, warm, and beautifully presented. The waiters, managers, and unsung heroes in the kitchen were all on point to deliver truly flawless events.We would absolutely work with Catering by Michaels again and will refer friends to the them at every opportunity.
