The tortilla soup had cilantro, tomatoes, avocado, shredded chicken, cream and tortilla strips. The cheese quesadilla came with Spanish rice, black beans, guac, salsa and cream. Portions were HUMONGOUS the queen was made with 2 huge fried tortillas, so it was bigger than the plate. It tasted great (although a bit greasy), but I was so full I had to leave 1/4 of the Quesadilla and half of the beans; I usually never leave food on my plate. I shared the soup with my dad, who's here. It came to 40,500 schilling (17,61 USD) for 2 nets, a soup and water, but the price is more than acceptable for the quality and amount of food you receive. The environment is very family-friendly. There is a playground for children, a well and many outdoor seating. Many expats (we saw British and Indians) came here with their children. Service is friendly but a little slow. The menu is extensive and you can find many Mexican specialties, breakfast options and desserts. Overall, I am happy with my experience and would definitely like to come back.
Feels (and sees) like a home! It is a beautiful restaurant with playground for children. The staff and the owner are all friendly. Food is delicious, large portions and well presented. You need to try the raspberry juice and pineapple/mint juice. All cakes are also in large portions! Appropriate price.
What a wonderful place to find in Tanzania! Amazing Mexican food so far from Mexico! Peter and Mary are amazing hosts, and their staff were very attentive. The site is beautiful and the design feels like a Mexican restaurant in the U.S. Southwest. I love it and can't expect me to come back in Tanzania next time! I was there at the end of October 2018.
Just a little town, 10 minutes drive from Moshi town. Like you put the restaurant on an unmade street in a rather poor area, I wonder if I'm lost trying to find this highly valued restaurant. If you finally reach the place, it still looks doubtful that a top restaurant could be here. You enter a cozy place and warmly welcomed by Nancy. its very unique (and fantastic) environment under tropical lush trees and open sky and then comes the good part. A beautiful table outside in the shadow is about as quiet as he gets. There is a beautiful playground for children to play, so it is very family-friendly. What welcomes you then is some of the best food I have eaten on every continent. I said with juice. I thought I'd take a risk by ordering Fajitas because I really love this court. It was really wonderful. Meat is so delicate and tasty, served with soft flour tortillas, one side is Spanish rice, refried beans, guacamole, sour cream and salsa. It was so regrettable. I received my food much faster than I did in most restaurants in Moshi, so also a grandiose plus is the staff is polite and strives to provide service quickly and efficiently, the owner takes care of going big space, I would try to go behind you to anyone who has a relaxing place with the right atmosphere to read, go online without worrying the people push their head to go behind you....or just in need of a good cup of coffee and a newspaper! This is the place for you.
One of the nicest most peaceful spots to eat in Moshi. Breakfast or dinner, both are excellent. I highly recommend the enchiladas. Faster than many other restaurants in the area. Lovely grounds and playground for the kids. you can also get fresh raspberries, feta cheese, baked goods and other stuff to take home too. Price is reasonable, staff and owners are all very nice. Note about the cold coffees, if you're ordering the frappes and iced coffee, they are made with instant coffee.
