Chile Rojo - Mount Airy

I have no complaints at all. The service was excellent, the food arrived hot, and the decor is stunning. I dined here before a show, and I had a wonderful experience. This time was even better since I ordered more food. My son really enjoyed the outdoor decorations. I’ve become accustomed to a specific flavor of salsa, and while this one wasn't bad, it had a taste somewhat reminiscent of grocery store salsa, even though it was homemade. However, the green salsa was fantastic—homemade and just the right amount of spice for those who prefer milder flavors.

I was in the mood for margaritas and Mexican cuisine, and my brother recommended this place, claiming they serve the best margaritas in town. I have to say, he wasn't wrong! I tried several different margaritas, and they were all fantastic. The service was outstanding as well. We had a group of about 12 people, and the staff treated us like rock stars. The food was excellent too. Overall, I had a very positive experience here and enjoyed the great food.

On our second evening, we decided to indulge in dessert and drinks, and Bryan, a nice young man, was our server. Unfortunately, the desserts weren't anything special, and my husband again ordered a margarita that he didn't like at all. After attempting to order three different drinks that were unavailable, I finally received my drink after a 20-minute wait, but it turned out to be subpar as well.

The food was very well prepared and the portion sizes were very good. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting some good Mexican food.

Food and service were adequate. Sweet tea was very delicious.
