Ordered some chips from the cafe, they told us it would take 20mins for them to be ready but I went along with it thinking it would be okay but 50mins later the chips arrived. They were cold and soggy and way to overpriced especially after waiting nearly a hour. Would never come here again. I recommend to not come here and if you want to come to the foreshore I recommend bringing a picnic rug and some food from home as this is a terrible cafe.
The location is beautiful. The food ok The service incredibly slow The staff indifferent. They always run out of soy. No, skim milk is not the same. grrrr.
Went with my wife and 2 year old and enjoyed the experience. We booked beforehand as we heard it gets busy, and we're pleasantly surprised that they asked if we were happy with the placement. We did have to line up for about 10 min to order but it was busy but can understand people with take away orders would be frustrated as there is only a single order point. Meals took about 25 min but came all together as promised. Meals were a bit pricey for a cafe but were good - eggs Benedict. Found service ok but do agree with previous reviews that for the prices charged service could be tweaked with a takeaway counter, which could double as an additional order point.
The other reviewers have got this right. This cafe is a disgrace! The 2 or 3 times I have been here it's the same every time. Waiting 5 - 10 minutes just to place the order (it wasn't that busy) and then just poor and slow service. The staff have an attitude as well.
