All I know is that the staff make a good coffee/ hot chocolate and are sometimes just a little too friendly. There is a sports section, a bistro,
Had a great, cheap Pami here on shnitty night however bar staff were inattentive and rude. We spent alot of money over the bar but still recieved rude service.
Amazing how you live in a suburb or a certain town and have never been to one of the local pubs but this changed on Sunday after we decided to grab some lunch out.Sunday midday we walked into the Mount Barker Bistro and the place was empty which is never a good sign albeit it was only midday.... 30 mins later the bistro was packed so there's my good sign. The staff treated us like we had been Coming there for years and were very helpful and the food choices were very extenensive with some great local wines on offer like " Bird in Hand"Thoroughly enjoyed and have booked again with a group of others this weekend .
Went to Mt Barker for the day with friends & came across The Barker. Great service & the pies were the best we had eaten. Can definitely recommend the Venison pie. Would go back for sure.
