I walked up, and the owner greeted me as if I were an old friend with a welcoming smile and super calm demeanor. I tried the chocolate bacon and some ice cream with the shops in house made toffee. Both were superb! Bacon was thick cut and as big of a piece as I have ever had. I'll have to update more, as I plan on stopping in there regularly. I almost forgot to take a pic, so all I have is 1 with a bite taken out. Lol.
Everything about this place is amazing. Right in the heart of downtown, I visited it yesterday for the first time and was blown away immediately. It's visually stunning both outside and in. I commented to the lady behind the counter that I felt like I walked into an art gallery, because the pieces LOOKED incredible. Seriously I don't think I've ever seen little pieces of chocolate look so deliciously and artistically done. I expected her to tell me at least 3 or 4 dollars each. It's way less than that, and the price goes down as you buy more. I only bought two yesterday because I only had a couple bucks on me, but I'm getting ready to go back today as I write this. The taste of those chocolates is indescribable. There's not enough adjectives to tell you how decadent they are, and how the flavor dances on your tongue long after you walk out of the shop. You'll just have to try it to see for yourself. I got the milk chocolate truffle and the vanilla caramel. Highly recommend both. My husband, who doesn't even ever care about sweets, was talking about that truffle all day. I saw some chocolate dipped orange peel and some bark I want to try today. Also noticed on their menu board that they have shakes... My daughter is a shake fanatic and I can't WAIT to try those. If their chocolate is this beautiful, both in appearance AND flavor... I want anything else they have, too.
