Paddington Alehouse - Mount Hawthorn

Steak tasted better along with being tender, than what I got at Rockpool! However my steak was cooked medium rare rather than rare :(. I couldn't b bothered to change it cause gotta eat :|

We were looking forward to a family meal and things started ok with $15 jugs of decent beer - however they had no CocaCola which was a disappointment to one of our number - we started with the tapas plate for five of us - it was ok but the jalapeño bites were very uninspiring after other venues. Mains were average at best with two parmigiana, a burger a pizza and salmon salad coming fairly quickly - the concencus around the table gave the food five out of ten - although the salmon quinoa salad was given more and appeared a cut above the other meals. Overall a little disappointing in this day and age to get average pub meals when so many places go the extra mile to impress.

.............Sunday arvo pub lunch. Pretty good sticky pork belly & seared scallops salad ($26 though....a little rich) onion rings and surf & turf special. The steak was served with double roasted salty & crunchy potatoes with big bbq king prawns on top. Great for a quiet lunch........
