The quiche is silky (to taste the carmelised onion/blue cheese); the coffee cakes are moist, crumby and chockfull of berries, not too sweet, just right; and the scones are better than I can do. The only frustration is that there are so many options and we cannot try them all out. The menu is on a chalkboard, so even if you have lived here you may have a hard time. I forgot to mention that the coffee and mocha were great.
Good meeting. One of the few great places in Mt. Horeb to meet or catch up for business. The simple coffee was a little bitter, but Latte is always great. The quiches are excellent and caramel/chocolate popcorn concoctions are delicious! Nice little setting and very friendly staff.
Very nice. I love going here for coffee and their delicious desserts. The staff is very friendly and this place really makes my day, good way to start the day.
Tea Time. After I put aside all the feelings of masculinity, I decided to cozy up to a cup of caramel green tea and a apricot brandy teacake. Both were excellent. Great place for a fast snack, chocolate or coffee.
A coffee and chocolate lover's heaven.. Delicious looking desserts, all sorts of chocolates. We had a slice of flourless chocolate cake which was excellent in small quantities. Two of us couldn't finish it because it was just too much sugar. The coffee, on the other hand, was fabulous! I ordered a decaf mocha latte with sugar free almond syrup and I am still thinking about it's perfection a few weeks later. Creamy, smooth, and just the right combination of flavors. Mmmm. . . I loved being able to sit and enjoy my coffee and dessert at one of the tables overlooking the main street in Mt. Horeb.
