Sylvia is an exceptional waitress—she is both friendly and efficient.
This restaurant had a cook and server test positive for COVID-19 on November 15. Instead of closing for safety, they hosted an event just two days later with over 50 customers, despite state regulations limiting gatherings to 25. Many customers were not wearing masks, and the staff who had contact with the infected individuals went on to work at this large event. I've reported this situation to the Virginia Department of Health, but I also feel it's important to warn the public. DINE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I stopped by while traveling for a quick bite and was happy to find a good breakfast option. I really love their skillets!
It's no surprise that this restaurant has a rating of 2.5 stars. The hostess made a terrible first impression. We were a group of six, including a baby, and she asked half of us to stand outside in the cold. Her reasoning was that we needed to split into two tables because of the baby. We understood the COVID protocols, so that wasn’t the main issue—it was her attitude! From the moment we arrived, she was rude and never apologized for the wait or any inconvenience. It felt like we were the ones causing the trouble. Ultimately, we decided to leave and ended up at the much more welcoming and professional Cracker Barrel just a few miles away!
